Taurus is the second sign of the zodiac, ruling the days between April 21 and May 21. Taurus has a need for stability in life and particularly for emotional and fiancial security.
Taureans love food, wine and comfort. They are very sensual and tactile and are said to be the best lovers of the zodiac. They can have a tendancy to be possessive towards their partners. Taureans are known for their have excellent memories and tend to be reliable and somewhat predictable.
Venus rules Taurus and as Venus is the goddess of love and beauty, she shares her good looks and charm with Taureans.
A Taurean partner or child can be frustratingly stubborn, slow to act and at times, rigid. Taureans need time to think, ponder and process. Although the Bull is linked with Taurus, it is an essentially ‘Yin’ sign, which means taureans are naturally inclined to be introverted.
