Blooming Tea!

I love tea and this is one of the nicest ideas I have come across - Blooming Tea!Â
The tea comes in an ‘unbloomed’ form like this:
and then once you have added your hot water and steeped for a while, it magically transforms into this:
It’s absolutely stunning. What a great Christmas gift idea! There is a huge variety of blooming tea sets. The one pictured is called Star Bloom.
After steeping, it opens up into a very pretty star. It is made with Carnation flowers and Silver Needle Tea, the best quality white tea. Traditionally it is harvested Spring before the buds open to preserve their tenderness.
It has a very light, delicate flavour and the tea brew itself is pale yellow.   It is only $3 a bloom and each bloom makes 3 pots of tea
This one is called Pot o’ Gold and contains Silver Needle White Tea leaves, Globe Amaranth, Jasmine and Marigold.Â
