Mind, Body, Spirit
By Penny | May 4, 2007
The Sydney Mind, Body & Spirit festival happens again from tonight until Sunday.
I have been a few times over the years and it has changed a fair bit but it’s still interesting to go and have a look see. They have free speakers and workshops. Years ago you could get free or very cheap treatments to try out but now all you can really get is those chinese massages.  I don’t think the vendors have a great range of products these days, which is hardly surprising since everything seems to come out of the same factory in China anyway.  It’s rare to see anything that’s really unique, unless it’s jewellery or crystals. Even them I’m cautious as the process of mining to extract the crystals is environmentally destructive. there must be better ways to improve the economy of such mining areas.
Here is a link to an interview with my friend Merv. Merv runs the psychic readers ‘pen’ at the various Aussie MBS’s and other festivals who need readers.

The Aussie MBS is a spin off of the highly successful London one. It’s just had it’s 30th anniversary. When I go to the UK, I will be timing my trip to coincide with the MBS. I’d love to check out the real thing.
