The Creating Game ©
By Penny | December 21, 2007
The Creating Game © has simple guidelines to working through the principles of creating or what many people call manifesting.
I have been teaching creating for many years in USA and UK to hundreds of people , I do not know of any FAST way to learn the art of creating your life, what you desire or your purpose. Like many get rich quick schemes people have jumped on the band wagon for teaching creating, writing about it and earning lots of money by telling you that its easy manifesting what ever you want.
It certainly is a SIMPLE concept - but it is rarely EASY. Trust me it does not work so easy, most of you will already be aware that you can start out with lots of enthusiasm and before you realise you have got nowhere with your creation and desires.
It is all about where you are, the baggage that you bring into creating, your past, your expectations, what you believe in, who supports or doesn’t support you and many more. These are just a few of the obstacles that YOU create to stand in your way of getting into the art of creating. And creating is definitely an art that must be learnt and practiced so that you can get it exactly how you want it to be.
Here is a very SIMPLE but profound guideline, motive how you react to these simple instructions, notice your response to one of the most essential principles of creating.
At the start of creating you will need to practice and take a couple of minutes to go quiet and tap into your inner guidance. this practice will guarantee that your creations will manifest much more quickly.
These practices are ancient and go back to the past where ancient wisdom was practiced for the good of humans and the earth.
Here are the simple guidelines to follow
You may be surprised at what you hear, or you may have the same old issues coming back again and again. This is not a bad sign, what it will do is help you to see how your inner chatter is programmed to say the same things. Understanding this will help you to connect with this energy and to either let it go or to embrace it depending on what serves you best at this time. There you have it, the very first and crucial step in creating and manifesting your desires. Simple but are you willing to follow through and do this everyday and sometimes more often, do you believe that this simple act will take you towards creating a fabulous home, a great job, the love of your life?
Trust me its the beginning and cannot be skipped.

Setting Your Eye on the Bulls eye
By Penny | December 14, 2007
The alarm rings, you wake up. You turn off the alarm and start the series of rituals that would get you showered, dressed, fed with breakfast, and eventually on your way to work. You kiss your wife on the cheek as she readies herself for work and taking the kids to school. You say your goodbyes.
As you take your car from the driveway, you notice that all is quiet in the early dawn. You like to leave for work early to get away from the traffic. The trip is uneventful and the radio blares out music you have no fondness for.
As you arrive at work, you check your mail, and start work with a cup of coffee. Lunch comes and goes. You think about saving enough to run a small business in a few years. You have told yourself the same thing for three years now.
What’s wrong with this picture? Are you one of them? Does the same dreary day pass by one after the other until you realize you’re thirty-five with little time left?
Don’t let this happen. Start setting goals with a timeline. Set goals by the SMART method.
The SMART method of setting goals has been around for a long time and has been used by many people. It is one of the many tools used by executives to hit their goals realistically and consistently with enough room to adjust to unforeseen circumstances.
Setting goals is a mind game that needs to be revisited as often as possible. This is to establish the goal consistently in the mind of the goal setter. Eventually the goal setter will have no need to be reminded on the goals he sets for himself.

The Language of Flowers: White Rose
By Penny | December 7, 2007
The white rose symbolises purity, innocence and secrecy. There are myths and legends from several different cultures relating to the origin of the first rose which is initially white in color and is then miraculously transformed. Oftentimes the pure white rose was depicted as being stained by blood, or made to blush from a kiss. The recurrence of this theme establishes the white rose as a symbol for purity.
Early traditions also used white roses as a symbol for true love, an association which would later become the hallmark of the red rose. However, white roses continue to endure and retain their symbolism of innocence. White roses are now used to express a number of different sentiments.
Also known as the bridal rose, the white rose is a traditional wedding flower. In this sense, they are a representation of unity, virtue, and the pureness of a new bond of love. White roses are also a symbol for young love, which further strengthens the association, and makes them ideal for marriages. Bridal bouquets are often comprised of white roses and other white flowers.
White roses are also associated with honor and reverence, which makes them a fitting memorial for a departed loved one. Funeral and sympathy arrangements traditionally incorporate white roses as a part of the tribute. As a symbol of remembrance, the white rose represents heavenliness and is an expression of spiritual love and respect.
While most of the long-established meanings of white roses are still quite commonly used today, others have become less prevalent. White rosebuds, for example, are a traditional symbol for girlhood and carry an underlying message of one too young for love. While perhaps no longer falling into the realm of common knowledge, this is still very much a part of the language of roses.

Understanding Method Acting
By Penny | December 1, 2007
Method acting refers to the technique used by actors in which they reproduce the touching situations that they have experienced in their real life. It is a way that makes it possible for the actors to give a performance that is as natural as it would be in real life. Therefore, method acting is an art of recalling those moments of the actor’s life that are akin to the situation that the scene is demanding.
Learning About History Of Method Acting
Let us understand how does this method acting came in existence. The history of method acting goes back to the times when Konstantin Stanislavski broke the ground with these new ideas. His acting performances at the Moscow Art Theater, writings, teachings and the good contacts that he had with the leading actors of Russia at that time helped in making this method more popular.
Names Of Celebrities Learnt Method Acting
Following the same line Lee Strasburg brought this idea to the New York City in the decade of 1940s. Many America’s celebrated actors learnt method acting at his Group Theater and Actor’s Studio. Some of the prominent names are Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman, Robert De Niro, Jane Fonda, Paul Newman, Marilyn Monroe and James Dean.
How Does It Work?
In method acting, actor has to scrutinize the sentiments and inspirations of the character he is asked to play. This makes him capable of representing the emotions of that particular character in way that is more realistic. Stanislavski System teaches the actor that he should bring to mind what type of feelings he had when he faced similar situation in his life in the past. This way he can depict the character in a manner as if he is doing it in his real life.
A Common Misconception
Many people believe that method acting is difficult form of art and the task of teaching it to others is even more difficult. However, this is a very wrong assumption that is not based on the facts. The reason for this mistaken belief is that people get confused between Method acting and method and they feel that Lee Strasburg laid down only a single method. However, the reality is poles apart.
Different Ideologies
Not only Lee Strasburg but Stanislavski also made many changes during the long span of his career. Today, there are many variations in the ideologies and practices. Emotional energy in acting and preparations are few examples of these variations used by different directors and teachers.

Struggling with making ends meet?
By Penny | November 28, 2007
Cash advance and pay day loans are good for when you need quick, unsecured loan cash, but please use them responsibily. Cutting out unnecessary expenditure, getting a second job and good money management are the key to financial growth. A cash advance is some times necessary - emergency medical or vet bills, car problems or a family emergency - but please remember that getting into more debt is never the way to get OUT of debt. Having said that though, I would rather suck it up and take out a payday loan rather than bouncing checks, selling or pawning something valuable that I’d rather not part with, and definitely before I asked a friend or family member for loan. Most payday loans lenders will allo you to “roll over” a loan, which means that the loan is extended to your next payday and the associated fees are doubled. Keep that in mind before you extend your credit even further and be sure to get a full statement of ALL fees and charges associated with your payday loan and the penalties for a late payment. Some of the reasons you might need to take out a payday loan include to avoid late payment charges and negative marks on credit ratings. We all have a need short-term financial assistance occasionally, and payday loans can be a viable solution. When used responsibly, payday loans can solve to these short-term cash needs effectively.

The Language of Flowers: Carnation
By Penny | November 28, 2007
The carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus) has a rich history and is a flower choice full of meaning. The name ‘dianthus’ means ”flower of love” or “flower of the gods”, depending on the source. One of the world’s oldest cultivated flowers, the carnation is appreciated for its ruffled appearance, clove-like scent, and extended blooming period.

The carnation’s history dates back to ancient Greek and Roman times, when it was used in art and décor. Carnations in these ancient times were shades of pale pink and peach, but over the years the available colors have grown to include red, yellow, white, purple, and even green.
The meanings of carnations include fascination, distinction, and love. Messages can also be expressed with the flower’s different color varieties. Light red carnations, for example, are often used to convey admiration, whereas the dark red version expresses deeper sentiments of love and affection. White carnations are associated with purity and luck, and pink carnations are often given as a sign of gratitude.

A Guide to the Different Natural Cures for Depression and Anxiety
By Penny | November 28, 2007
Of course there are tons of different prescriptions and other medications that are available for us and for our ailments, but some of us would simply prefer to avoid these types of treatment if possible and instead go with more natural alternatives. These natural alternatives are not only healthier but they are also much cheaper than their more traditional counterparts.
Natural Cures for Depression and Anxiety
Depression and anxiety are just two of the many ailments to which there are natural alternatives available, and so if you are one of the many people in the world today who find themselves suffering from depression and anxiety, or even just one or the other, then you should know that you certainly do have choice and that you do not have to only rely on prescriptions and modern medications to deal with your problems.
Exercise
Exercise is certainly one of the simplest and best natural cures for depression and anxiety, and most people would actually be quite surprised to learn just how beneficial and successful exercise is in treating a variety of different ailments, including, in this case, depression and anxiety.
Even including just a small bit of exercise in your daily routine can help your anxiety and depression symptoms tremendously, and so try to be as physically active as you can as well as attempting to eat a balanced and healthy diet.
Sunlight
Regular exposure to sunlight can greatly affect a person’s helplessness to depression as well as to anxiety, and so you should try to get outside as much as possible – take whatever activities you can from the indoors to the outdoors, such as doing crossword puzzles, washing your clothes, and folding laundry, for instance, and in the colder months you can participate in winter activities such as skiing or snowboarding to get yourself outside and keep yourself active.
Keeping in Touch With Your Doctor
Besides the natural treatments recommended here, you should also always remember to keep in contact with your doctor, as they will be able to keep an eye on your anxiety and depression symptoms, and as well will be able to offer you even more ideas in terms of things that you can do to relieve your anxiety and depression naturally.
However you should know that if your symptoms do not subside after using these natural treatments or if they start to get worse, your doctor may recommend that you try more serious or prescription medications in order to help your ailments and it may be something that you will have to consider in order to get better.
